Refund policy

Refund, Returns & Exchanges Policy

At YourBookSpotUSA, we stand behind the quality and accuracy of every product we ship. If there is an issue with your order, our team is here to help and will work quickly to make it right.

Because we sell books, codebooks, and educational materials, certain conditions apply to returns and exchanges.


Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • The item arrived damaged

  • The incorrect item was received

  • The item is unused, unopened, and in original condition

Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of confirmed delivery.

Items must be returned in new, resellable condition. Books that show signs of use, highlighting, bending, tab installation, or damage after delivery are not eligible for return.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the error was on our part (damaged or incorrect item).


Exchanges

We offer exchanges in the following situations:

  • You received the wrong item

  • The item arrived damaged

  • You ordered the wrong edition and notify us within 7 days (item must be unused and unopened)

If approved, we will provide exchange instructions. Replacement items will be shipped once the original item is received and inspected.


Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued when:

  • A return is approved and received in acceptable condition

  • An item is confirmed damaged upon delivery

  • The incorrect item was shipped

  • A package is confirmed lost in transit by the carrier

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.


Required Documentation

To process a return, exchange, or refund request, please provide:

  • Order number

  • Clear photos of the item

  • Photos of the original packaging (if applicable)

  • Brief explanation of the issue

Requests without sufficient documentation may be delayed or denied.


Non-Refundable Situations

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Buyer’s remorse after the item has been opened or used

  • Incorrect shipping address entered at checkout

  • Shipping delays within our stated 14-business-day processing window

  • Items damaged after delivery

  • Failure to review product descriptions prior to purchase


Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking shows a package as delivered, we are not responsible for theft or loss after delivery. We recommend contacting the carrier directly for assistance.

If a package is confirmed lost in transit by the shipping carrier, we will issue a replacement or full refund.


Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us before filing a payment dispute so we can resolve the issue promptly. Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in order cancellation and account restrictions.
